The conditions at the Lake Saturday were let’s just say not very nice at all. The weatherman said it was going to clear by noon I didn’t think he meant noon.

Sunday! Temperature at 5AM was 42 degrees and wind gust of 10 to 25 mph. Winds were from the northeast which made the best part of the lake to fish very tough. Water temperature ranged from 50 to 54 degrees. Then oh yes, did I mention with this 10 to 25 mph wind that also included RAIN…ALL DAY LONG!! The water was slightly stained, and from what I could tell, guys were throwing worms, crankbaits, jig and pig.

We had two nice fish come in to the weigh-in and I will include the photos of both.
Steve Sharland was the first to weigh his big fish in at 6.25 lbs.
Then we had to wait for the last boat to get put on the trailer and
Tony Cilento brought his fish to the scale and weighed 6.38 lbs. Job well done to the both of you. Although they were some what tight lipped, I believe one was caught on a jig and pig and the other was caught, I think, on a lizard.
