morning 7/13/2002, Temperature at launch time was 53degrees, with
a
light fog coming off of the water. Water temperature 72.8. Skies were
clear
not a cloud to be had and slight breeze 1 to 5 mph, coming from the
southwest. Water clarity somewhat stained. Lake was in a turnover
condition.
By
weigh-in time temperature had soared to around 85 degrees. Water
temperature had warmed to 75.6. Lake stayed flat all day, most fish
were
caught between 5 and 12 feet. From the fishermen's mouths, fish were
caught
on a spinnerbait, plastic worms, and topwater. A few reported catching
fish
on a crankbait and last but not least the good old jig and pig in
the weeds.
