Well the season ended as it begun for us up here in New York. We started this year at Redfield in a rainstorm, and Saturday was no different... well just a little, it was about 25 degrees colder and a light rain. Arriving at the ramp Saturday morning at 4:45am, the temperature was 38 degrees. The weatherman said it was going to warm up to about 55. They lied to us again, but it did warm to 47. Just some thoughts about weather people. How many times can they be wrong and still keep their jobs? They even missed with the time the rain was supposed to stop. They said noon, and it stopped about 8 am. Thank goodness.

The wind was from the Northwest blowing from 5 to at times 15 mph. The water was clear and the temperature was 50.5 at the south end of the lake and 47.5 at the North end.

This was the Last tournament for us this year, because our bass season closes in November and will not open again until Next June 3rd, Saturday to be exact. Turnout was light for this tournament with the rain and cold. I had some that said they had enough of the rain and cold, while others are archery hunting.
Lures that were being used were rattle trap, finesse worm, jig/pig, and senko, folks you have to know me by now pop R. My fish came on a Berkley power worm (Rhonda you know the one I was using) haha, jig/pig and my pop R, with the big fish on that.

Anyone happen to notice the closeness of the top 3 places of finish especially the 2nd and 3rd place finish?

As the Director of New York Northwest #4, I would Like to thank all the participants that fished with us this year. You are a GREAT bunch of guys!

To our Local Sponsors: E.W. Sports, Horizon Property Maintenance, Cote’s Supply, Thank You!
