Saturday
morning arriving at the ramp at about 4:00 AM, the rain started.
Saturday June 21st, arriving at the ramp at 4:00 a.m. the weather
for our opening day was as we closed the season last year. A rain
storm. Temperature was 55 degrees, wind for much of the day was out
of the north anywhere from 5 to 20 mph. The water temperature in the
areas I had fished was in the low 60’s and clear. When I say
clear I mean you could see bottom at 20 feet deep. The turn out for
this tournament was 24 anglers. Now this may not seem big to some
tournament trails, but we are still growing and it is getting better.
The word seems to be getting out as to how much fun this ABA circuit
really is and what a great bunch of guys fishing it.
Thanks guys for helping to spread the word.
