Saturday
Morning: There was some doubt among the competitors, as to the way
the day was going to turn out. It had been blowing for the past 3
days and
the worst day was Friday with waves 4 to 5 feet. We were wondering
if the
weatherman would call this day correct. He was saying winds southwest
5 to
10 mph we were hoping he was correct.
Launch time the lake was flat, winds were calm, skies were overcast,
water
temp was 73 degrees, where I was fishing. I knew exactly what I was
going to
throw for as long as the skies were cloudy.
The baits that the contestants "SAID" they used!!!! and
we all know how us
fishermen always tell the truth!!
I caught a limit with a Pop R, then culled 3 with a tube jig
The rest of the field mentioned that a Chug Bug, Spinner bait, Jig
and pig
and the senko.
