Erie June 3, 2006
The day
started out a little chilly with light showers. We had 15 anglers
come out for this tournament. This was the second tournament for ABA
District 4 on Lake Erie this year. This being our last ONE fish tournament.
The sky was overcast, with intermittent showers all day long. The
air temp was in the mid 60’s with light winds.
The Anglers
seemed to be very excited about this tournament. I had made an announcement
that Jimmy Yarborough from ABA Headquarters was doing a feature article
on our Lake Erie Tournament. The article will be featured on the ABA
website as well as, published in the ABA Magazine. The top 3 finishers
for this tournament will be interviewed by Jimmy.
Water
temperature ranged from 61 to 64 degrees…and clear. Wave action
was very slight. The anglers reported they were using tubes, spinner
baits and crank baits. The fish were caught at depths of 20’
and less.
