Bay Tournament Results 6/17/2006
Today
was opening day of Bass Season here in New York and our first tournament
of our regular season. We had 29 anglers show up for this event. Weather
conditions in the morning were cloudy with a forecast being in the
90’s. Water temps were in the high 60’s and low 70’s.
Out of
the 29 anglers we had 19 come in with a limit of bass. Everyone caught
fish to bring to the scales. Most of the anglers stayed right in Sodus
Bay. Reports from the fishermen on the tackle used were as follows...The
early morning bite was top water, later on during the day switching
to other baits such as senkos, plastic worms and jigs. No one reported
catching fish with a spinnerbait or crankbait. None of the anglers
shared the colors that were used.
