Black Lake

St. Lawrence County. Adjacent to Hammonds-Edwardsville County Road, two miles west of the Hamlet of Edwardsville in Town of Morristown. Concrete launching ramp. Parking for 55 cars and trailers.

Butterfield Lake
Jefferson County, Off Town Road, 1/2 mile east of the Hamlet of Redwood. Hard surface launching ramp, parking for 27 cars and trailers.

Canandaigua Lake
Ontario County, Canandaigua State Marine Park. Off Route 20 in the City of Canandaigua. Hard surface launching ramp. Parking for 110 cars and trailers.

Cayuga Lake

Marinas Restaurant: is Located approximately 3 to 5 miles South of the State Park Launch ramp, formerly known as The Cove. Parking for about 20 cars and trailers. They will serve Breakfast, and a BOX Lunch if requested. Launch ramp is scheduled to be redone. You may launch anywhere you wish, Registration,boat assignments,safty briefing and weigh in will be held at the Marinas Restaurant.

Seneca County, Dean's Cove State Marine Park. On Route 89, 24 miles north of Ithaca. Two concrete ramps. Parking for 48 cars and trailers.

Chautauqua Lake
Chautauqua County, Prendergast Point. On Route 17J in the Village of Chautauqua. Hard surface launching ramp. Parking for 40 cars and trailers.

Chautauqua County, Bemus Point. Hamlet of Bemus Point. From I-90 take Exit 60, proceed to the end of the road and turn left onto RT. 394 East...proceed approximately 8 miles to the stop light turning left onto RT. 430 E. Follow RT.430 all the way into Bemus Point which is approximately 10 miles. Upon entering Bemus Point you will come to a caution light ... turn left..then take your first right...proceed to the end of the road..turn left..approximately 100 yards away is the launch ramp on right and parking area on the left.
Hard surface launching ramp. Parking for 50 cars and trailers.
There is a speed limit on the water in the narrows Strictly enforced


Chautauqua County, Long Point, Lake Chautauqua State Park. Off Route 17, on Route 430 between Bemus Point and Maple Springs. Parking for 70 cars and trailers. Marina. Pumpout. Concrete ramp

Chaumont Bay
From Rt. 81 North:

Take exit 46 Dexter/Coffeen St.
Turn Left onto Rt. 12F West.
Go about 2 miles
Turn Right onto 12E go .2 yep 2 tenths
of a mile at the stop sign
Turn Left onto Rt.12E. You are only 1 turn away You will pass through Brownsville this is the town that you just made the left hand turn, you are approximately 10 miles from the ramp. Continue on Rt.12E into the town of Chaumont, cross over the bridge, go past the NAPA Store take the first road to the Left. or Follow the Chaumont launch Ramp Signs.

From The Thousand Island Bridge:

Follow Rt.12E through Clayton into Cape Vincent at the small mini mart (Gas Station) turn left following Rt.12E. You will pass thru a small town called Three Mile Bay continue about 4 more miles until you see the Launch Ramp Sign. It will be on your Right hand side. If you get to the Bridge you have passed the Ramp Road.

Chippewa Bay
From Rt. 81 take 12 North passing thru Alexandria Bay continue on 12 N approximately 10 to 12 miles to county Rd.6
(I believe it is) turn Left and the ramp is located at the end of that road about 200 yards form 12 N.
There is a sign on
Rt.12N that says Chippewa bay, you may turn at that sign and follow it to the end and then turn Left if you prefer to do so


Conesus Lake
Livingston County. From Route 390, Exit 8, three miles east on Route 20A, four miles south on East Lake Road. Hard surface launching ramp. Parking for 45 cars and trailers.

HoneoyeLake
Ontario County. Off Route 20A, 4 miles south of the Hamlet of Honeoye, off East Lake Road. Hard surface launching ramp. Parking for 30 cars and trailers.

Keuka Lake
Directions to Keuka Lake from Interstate 90 which happens to be the New York State Thruway.

Take Exit 44 Canandaigua this is Route 332 go straight into the town of Canandaigua continuing to Rt 5 and 20 East. This will be a left hand turn onto 5 & 20. Continue on 5 & 20 for approximately 13 miles until you reach County Road 5 which will be a right hand turn. County Road 5 turns into Route 14A which brings you into the town of Penn Yan. Go past the Hess gas station to the next traffic light, there will be a boat launch sign, turn right and go straight about 100 yards and then take the left fork into the parking area of the launch site.

Monroe County, Irondequoit Bay State Marine Park. From the NYS Thruway Take exit 45 Proceed to 490 west to 590 North go to the end of 590 N Boat launch is just to the Right
Parking for 28 cars and trailers.


NFTA Small Boat Harbor
Lake Erie


Erie County, Buffalo. Off Buffalo Skyway at Furhman Blvd. Operated by Niagara Frontier Transit Authority 14 concrete ramps and with parking for 1000 cars and trailers. Seasonal, May 15 - October 15, $5.00 fee. Take exit 7 off the I-190 then take the second Right, proceed over the Skyway, taking the first exit,turn left and proceed to Small Boat Harbor

Oneida Lake
Boats-A-Float Marina is a new boat launch location for us ... it is a privately owned facility that likes to cater to Bass Fishermen.
Directions to the Marina are as follows:

From Interstate 90, which is the New York State Thruway. Take Exit 36 at Syracuse proceed to Rte 81 North to Exit 30 which is the Cicero exit, turn right onto Route 31 E go approximately 3.4 miles there will be a caution light, proceeding aproximately 2 more miles past the caution light, make a left onto Lakeshore Road continue about a 1/8 to 1/4 of a mile turn right onto Murray Drive go about 200 yards and turn right into Boats-A-Float Marina. Oneida County, Godfrey Point. Adjacent to Route 49, 1 mile east of the Village of Cleveland. Two hard surface launching ramps. Parking for 56 cars and trailers.

Owasco Lake

From Rochester or Syracuse, take the New York State Thruway to Weedsport (Exit 40). Take Rt. 34 South to Auburn. Follow Rt. 34 & 38 South (South Street) to Swift Street (Rt. 38 South). Take Swift Street East to Lake Ave. Turn right and continue South on Rt. 38 past the High School to the traffic circle. Continue around the traffic circle and follow Rt. 38A toward the East side of the lake to the Park entrance.


Port Bay

104 East from Rochester....
At the Route 414 intersection
(there is a yellow flashing light)
Turn left (north)
At Old Route 104 Ridge road turn right.
Continue to the very village line of Wolcott
(30 MPH speed zone).
Turn left onto West Port Bay road,
you will go right by the fire hall.
Just keep going on this road until you see the sign that says
State launch. Turn right down the dirt road about 1/2 mile and there is the launch.
The launch is a double wide concrete ramp. Parking is OK and there is a portapottie.

104 West from Oswego.
At the Route 414 intersection
(there is a yellow flashing light)
At the stoplight to turn right on old 104 to go into Wolcott make the right turn
Follow the road through town.
Turn right just as you leave village limits by the fire hall
Same from there.

Salmon River Reservoir
Redfield Reservoir
Oswego County, Jackson Road, Co Rte 2. On Jackson Road off the Orwell-Redfield Road 5 1/2 miles west of the Hamlet of Redfield. Concrete Ramp.Directions to Redfield Resevoir:
From the Syracuse area Northbound on Rt81 take the Pulaski Exit #36. Turn right and go about 3 miles, turn LEFT following the signs going back to Rt81 go about 4 miles coming to a stop sign. This will be Co.Rt2, TURN Right staying on Co.Rt2 go about 10 miles. The Jackson road ramp sign will be on the right hand side of the road, Turn Right the ramp will be on this gravel road.
South Bound Rt81 from the 1000 island reigon:
Take Exit #36 and Turn Left
This will be Rt2 staying on Rt2 go about 10 miles. The Jackson road ramp sign will be on the right hand side of the road, Turn Right the ramp will be on this gravel road.

Seneca Lake
From I-90
Exit 42 Geneva, then turn right onto
Rt.14 South and drive 4.5 miles to Lake
St.(Hampton Inn is on the corner)
Then turn left, go thru 2 lights
over Rt.5 & 20 into the Chamber of
Commerce to the 2 lane concrete ramp.
Parking forabout 50 vehicles and docking
for about 5 mooringslips and the walk out
will hold another 4.

Seneca Lake State Ramp
(P) - Seneca County, Seneca Lake State Park. On Routes. 5 and 20 and 96A, at the City of Geneva. Hard surface ramps. Pumpout. Parking for 30 cars and trailers.
The directions are about the same except that you continue east of 5 and 20 about 1 more mile. Entrance to the park is on the left.

Sampson State Park
From I-90 take exit 42 then Route 14 into Geneva turn left on Route 5 & 20 going to... Route 96A South, Sampson State Park is 12 miles south of the City of Geneva. Parking for 64 cars and trailers.

Sodus Bay

SERVICES: A well-graded deep water public launch ramp is located at the extreme western end of the bay. It is located South of Pier Pointe Marina and North of Arney's Marina on Route 14. The ramp is readily visible and accessible from the road. There is ample car/truck/trailer parking for the ramp across the street.
